SEP 141978 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Westinghouse Electric Corporation License No. SNM-1107 Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on July 17-21, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
Conditions 9 and 26 of License No. SNM-1107 require that licensed materials be used in accordance with statements, representations and conditions contained in Section 3 of the license application.
Section 3.2.4 of the license application requires periodic con-tamination surveys of contaminated areas.
Contrary to the above, contamination surveys had not been made of the red tractor trailer, No. RS 314, which had been used for several months to store contaminated equipment, and which was found on July 20, 1978, to be contaminated to a level of 1,500 dpm.
This is an infraction.
