Voids in Concrete Placements on Interior Walls in the Auxiliary Building Gentlemen:
On December 20, 1979 it was reported to your office that a poten -
tial reportable item under 10CFR50.55e existed at Plant Vogtle concerning voids in concrete placements on interior walls in the auxiliary building.
Georgia Power Corecany is currently evaluating the potential de-ficiency and/or defect concerning these concrete voids. These voids occurred during concrete placements within the auxiliary building where accessibility to inspect for proper concrete consolidation is limited.
It is anticipated that the evaluation will be completed and should a significant deficiency or defect exist, a report will be filed by February 29, 1980.
This response contains no proprietary information and may be placed in the NRC Public Document Rooms upon receipt.
