Gentlemen:
Ca bhrch 22, 1978, we applied for approval of our Quality Assurance program, and in your letter of October 9,1979, you answered requesting additional information pertaining to the requirements of Appendix E, 30 CFR Part 71. We are in the process of up-dating our QA Program to satisfy the more stringent QA requirements of recent orders as well as to include the documentation required for your acceptance criteria. We will not be able to satisfactoria11y accomplish this task before March 15, 1980; therefore, we request a 90 day extension of the time you allowed for our return submittal.
