A Enclosed are three signed originals (sixty conformed copies sent separately) of Technical Specification Change Request No. 58, Amendment A requesting amendment to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-50.
Also enclcsed is one signed copy of Certificate of Service for proposed Technical Specification Change Request No. 58, A=endment A to the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.
This change request is being submitted in respense to your letter of August 17, 1977. Please be advised that the ec= tined qualifications of the incumbent Superviscr-Radiaticn Protection
's Che=istry and the Radiation Protection Supervisor meet the minimum requirements of the Radiation Protection Manager (RPM) as stated in Regulatory Guide 1.8, Septe=ber 1975 It is the intent of Metropolitan Edison Cc=pany to maintain both of these positions as an equivalent to the RFM.
Shculd at an/ time, Metropolitan Edison Cc=pany specify the position of RFM, the individual filling that position shall meet er exceed the qualifier.icns of Regulate:"f Guide 1.8, end a Technical Specification Change Request to that effect will be submitted.
