s h.I Ikn Reporting of Changes & l!actifications to Approved Fundanental Nuclear Material Control Plans Uith reference to your letter of March 20, 1979, relative to the above subject, we appreciate your guidance in requirements for us to comply with the ptuvisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c).

Up to the present tinn, we have experienced no difficulties in nueting the reciuirenents of 10 CFTl 70.32(c) concerning changes to our Fundanental Nuclear I.Interial Control (FEC) Plan. Our procedure for review of proposed changes to the FNMC P.lan, as v.ull as our degree of conpliance with 10 CFR 70.32(c), are audited annually as part of our required intemal audit program.

We agroo vrif' your position concerning pronpt sulxalttal of plan changes v.hich v,e judge not to decrease the effectiveness of the plen.

It has been our practice to sulxnit plan changes in this category on a timely basis rather than waiting for the entire allowed six nonth tinn interval.

Connunications of this nature are useful in pluviding licensees with infonnation v;hich contributes to a nure effective and efficient licensing process betv/cen your office and the licensee.
