In reference (1) it was requested that the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company (CYAPCO) reference the latest revision to the FSAR where the existing operational QA program for the facility is documented.
The latest revision to this program is described in Revision 3A to the flortheast Utilities Quality Assurance Topical Report l'U-0A-1.
In reference (2) the f!RC Qualit'y Assurance Branch found that the Topical Report describes a quality assurance program that reets the criteria in Appendix B to 10CFR50 and is therefore, acceptable.
It was also indicated that we need only reference this Topical Report in Chapter 13 of the license application.
In accordance with reference (2) 40 copies of the Topical Report f!U-QA-1, revisiori 3A were transmitted to the !!RC on April 26, 1979.
