The Commission, by a vote of 5-0, authorized the Secretary to issue an extension to the effectiveness of the interim fuel cycle rule (10 CFR 51. 20 (e) ) through May 15, 1979.
(Subsequently, the Secretary signed the extension on April 30, 1979).
I'n addition, the Commission reques ted that a meeting be scheduled to discuss the Statement of Consideration for the Uranium Fuel Cycle Rule ( RM-5 0- 3 ).
(Subsequently, a meeting was scheduled to discuss this matter on Wednesday, May 2, 1979).
