Reference is made to your recent cannunications:

Mr. J. Jacomet's letter of December 3,1976, regarding the proposal to hold the IEC TC 45 meeting in France, i
April 20-29, 1978.
2.
Dr. Grabov's telex of December 10, 1976, proposing the IAEA Symposium on Nuciear Power Plant Control and Instrumentation April 17-22, 1978.
It seems to me that these meetings will be attended by many of the same people. Their competition in dates as now proposed is most unfortunate and should be rescheduled by moving one or the other.
If in addition, there is to be an IAEA Working Group meeting (as distinguished from the Symposium) in 1978, it too should have its date and place harmonized with the two meetings discussed above.
I leave to the actual organizers of the meetings the necessary inter-change of ideas and possibilities to effect the desired harnonization.
