Thank you for sending me a copy of your letter of October 26 to Professor Jacobs regarding the document " Reliability Data Acquisition" under development.
I have no objection at all; in fact, I welcome the opportunity for you to get conrnents from E
this well-qualified source. However, I do have a problem with your transmitting & USA (not even a Working Group) draft in this stage of its development to another Technical Comittee of the IEC.
i 1 think it is very easy for them to misunderstand this and to take it as a document with more standing in SC 45A, than this one has.
r' Would you please therefore remind Professor Jacobs that this is only a Fragola preliminary draft of what may be the USA draft to

be considered in a Working Group meeting and has no more SC 45A y>
standing than that, and it should not be transmitted to the members pd' of TC 56 for that reason.
