C;erating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-32 Shipment of EPICCR II Resin Liners to DCE The purpose of this letter is to request your approval for shipment of several E?!COR II resin liners (neminally two, but no more than six) which have been expended durirg :he course of processing Auxiliary 3uilding waters.
These liners have been requested by DOE (reference J. D. Griffith letter to 3. J. Snyder, dated Augus: 20, 1980) and will be shipped to a site specified by DOE for use in their test progra=s.
It is intended that these liners be shipped without further solidifi-cation.
Initial dewatering has been perfor=ed on the liners prior to their being placed in the TMI-2 staging f acility. It is not intended or desired by DCE, that a final dewatering process be perfor:ed prior to shipment.
The dates of :he propcsed shipments have not yet been established.
TL=ing is dependent upon ecmpletion of negotiations with DOE, :he availability of acceptable casks and resolution of potential pro-prietary atters with EPICOR, Incorporated. We will advise you of elanned shipment dates when the schedule becomes firm.
It is anticipated that you will advise us of any additional infor=a-tion that you may require in order that your approval may be granted.
