METEOROLOGICAL IMPACT OF MECHANTCAL COOLING TOWERS AT THE PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT Attached is the final report of the meteorological impact of the mech'anical cooling towers at the Palisades Plant site.

The main conclusion of the report is that changes in meteorological variables beyond the site boundary due to cooling tower operations are minimal and generally not distinguishable from background.

This report fulfills Consumers Power Company's commitment under the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications, Section 4.11.6.
