THIRD SET OF REQUESTS FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS FROM HOUSTON LIGHTING & POWER COMPANY TO CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY Pursuant to Sections 2.720, 2.740, 2.744 and 2.790 of the Commission's Rules of Practice, Houston Lighting & Power Comoany pronounds the following Requests for Production of Documents to Central Power and Light Company.

Definitions and Instructions The definitions and instructions set forth in the Second Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents from Houston Lighting & Power Comoany to Central and South West Corporation, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, West Texas Utilities Company, Southwestern Electric Power Company, Central s003040 O l

Power and Light Company and Central and Southwest Services, Inc.

are incorporated herein by reference.

Documents To Be Produced All documents which set forth, contain information about, re fe r , or relate to:

(a) an interconnection or possible interconnection

- between the Public Utilities Board of the City of Brownsville and the Comision Federal De Electricidad (CFE), including all studies; (b) communications by employees, representatives, or officials of CP&L and any other person concerning an interconnection or possible interconnection between the Public Utilities Board of the City of Brownsville and CFE; (c) the ef fect an interconnection between the Public Utilities Board of the City of Brownsville and CFE might or would have upon CD&L, the South Texas Interconnected System, the Texas Interconnected System, or ERCOT.

(d) an interconnection or a possible interconnection at Matamoros or elsewhere in the southern portion of CP&L's system, between CP&L and CFE, including all studies;

(c) the effect an interconnection at Matamoros,or elsewhere in the southern portion of CP&L's system, between CP&L and CFE might or would have upon CP&L, the South Texas Interconnected System, the Texas Interconnected System, or ERCOT ;

(f) communications by emoloyees, representatives, or officers of CP&L and any other person concerning an interconnection or possible interconnection at Matamoros,or elsewhere in the southern portion of CP&L's system,between CP&L and CFE; (g) the standards by which CP&L or Central and South West Corporation assess the economic or engineering feasibility and desirability of interconnections with other utility systems.
