I understand that you have been asked by certain Pennsylvanians to expedite the reopening of the Unit I reactor at Three Stil e Island.
As a resident of the llarrisburg area, I am adatuaatly opposed to the reopening of Unit 1, and am appalled by that possibility.
5fetropolitan Edison's repeated safety violations and blatant disregard of NkC regulations make it imperative that the p l.i n t stay shut down.
I urge you on behalf of the people who live in this area, who have already been exposed to the most serious health riske (not to mention mental anguish), to do everything, in your power to prevent another accident that "could not happen."
The only way to accomptish this is to clo:
