FEB 2 51939 MEMORANDUM TO FILE

SUBJECT:

PROPOSED EXPORTS OF EQUIPMENT TO FRANCE AND BELGIUM (XCOM0367ANDXCOM0368)

Westinghouse Electric forwarded two component export license applications dated February 4,1980 to the NRC covering nuclear equipment for a power reactor in France and a power reactor in Belgium. Although both applications were received in 0IP's office on February 7,1980, they were inadvertently misplaced until February 22, 1980.

Because of the delay in processing these export requests, licenses were issued for these proposed exports without the customary 15-day waiting period.
