Docket No. STN 50-482 Subj: Unistrut Brackets for Cable Tray Supports
Dear Mr. Seidle:
On September 14, 1979, we reported to Mr. Oberg that we had found unistrut brackets Type P 1331 with foming tears in the corners.
Subsequent to this, forming tears were also found in other type unistrut brackets. A testing program was carried out which verified that the forming tears do not reduce the strength of the brackets below their design strength.
Information regarding the testing program and the results of the tests performed are available on site for your review.
We do not consider this matter to be reportable under Regulation 10CFR50.55(e).
