Dear Mr. Conner:
You have written to this office in connection with the transmittal of the
" Interagency Task Force Report on Proposed Decommissioning of the Sheffield Nuclear Waste Disposal Site" to the Licensing Board on January 3,1980. You ask that we changr the date on the face of the report.
As indicated on the face,of the report it was prepared in September,1979, and that date was printed on the face of the report at that time.
To now change the date would not correctly reflect the date when the report was printed, and would be disingenuous. We believe the date of release of the report to the Boards and the parties is a matter of public record.
Your comment on the original licensing of the Sheffield site is noted.
