COMM0f4 WEALTH EDISOft LETTER DATED t'0VEMBER 13, 1979 - INCOPPLETE ITEMS PRIORITIES Tae enclosed licensee's letter of 'lovember 13,1979 (Enclosure 1) concerning their determination of priorities for open licensing actions, lists only two items concerning fire protection, i.e., " Correct Listing Smoke Detectors and Sprinklers" and " Correct Listing tieat Detectors." Both items are given a low priority by tne licensee. There are a number of other fire protection i; ems remaining open. These items are enumerated on the enclosed status saeets (Enclosure 2). He request that the licensee be infomed of our view that the resolution of open fire protection issues snould receive a high priority and that his late and inadequate rasponses are causing undue delays. Dear Sir:

Reference (a) requested a review Of Our pending licensing actions to reassign our priorities a:d delete these requests which are no longer considered necescar; for Dresden 2 and 3 and Quad-Cities 1 and 2.

The lists include our determination of the priority of the items. Inclosure 2 contains lists of items which we feel should be deleted from the review prccess and the associated reason for its deletion. By this letter, we are withdrawing our applications and requesting that the review of items listed in Enclosure 2 be terminated. For those items which have had little or no review to date, an adjustment to our licensing fee submittals may be indicated. Please address any questions ycu may have concerning this matter to this of fice.
