Dear Sir:
L s
g P
I am in receipt of your letter with regard to d
a possible Janua y discussion with representative (s) of the law firm Lowenstein, Newman, Reis, Axelrad, &
Toll.
I appreciate the information provided in response to our request.
The previous correspondenc.e was not intended to be accusatory, but rather to ensure that Intervenor TexPIRG was fully informed as to all matters.
Gur request was prompted by a Feb. 28, 1979 invoice from Lowenstein, et. 91.,
to HL&P.
As the enclosed copy indicates, the invcice appears to state that a discussion with the ASLB chairman occurred during January.
The invoice was produced by HL&P during a Public Utility Commission of Texas rate proceeding (docket 2676).
After considering your letter, it seems clausible that the stated discussion may actually have oc' curred in
- ebruary when a conference call was held and that the matter was mis-marked on the invoice.
If there is any further information on this matter, please let us know.
TexPIRG hopes that the help in clarifying this question has rat been too inconvenient en your part.
Sincerely, James Scott, Jr.
Counsel for TexPIRG cc: all parties 1574 011 7 01214 0 2 If
