Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Attached are three signed originals and 19 conformed copies of Amend-ment 36 to the Operating License Application for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station Unit 1.
Amendment 36 addresses questions raised in Mr. Schwencer's letter dated October 25, 1972, and also transmits additional information regarding the Stoney Creek Fumped Storage Facility requested in Mr. DeYoung's letter dated August 31, 1972. This Amendment also contains information which serves to update the FSAR.
The answers to questions raised in Mr. Schwencer's letter of October 25, are centained in Supplement 2, Part VIII. The balance of the material has been incorporated into the text and is forwarded in the form of change pages dated February 9, 1973.
There are also enclosed one copy and 20 conformed copies of the Certificate of Service of Amendment 36 on the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located.

36 Applicant submits by this Amendment, in support of its request for an initial operating license at a reactor power level of 2535 MWt, change pages which address the questions raised in Mr. Schwencer's letter of October 25, 1972, the questions concerning the Stoney Creek Pumped Storage Facility contained in Mr. DeYoung's letter of August 31, 1973 and informa-tion which serves to update the FSAR.
