Activities conducted under applicable criteria of Appendix E of 10 CFR Part 71 to be executed with regard to transportation packages by October 1,1979.
B.
The shipping activities authorized by his approval are procurement, mair.* en-ance, repair, and use. All other shipVng activities (i.e., design, fabrication, assembly, tec ting, and modification) sha'l be satisfied by obtaining certifi-cations from p.ckage suppliers that these activities were conducted in accordance with an NRC-approved QA program.
It shall remain the responsibility of the licensee-user that all transportation activities meet the requirenlents of 10 CFR 571.51.
