CONTA I N".ENT I N-L EAKAGE RATE Containment different e! p essure (con ta i nm.e n t -ou t s i de a i r) was measurea with a DF gauge tnat nas a range of -5 to 10 psi wirn an accuracy of.5% o# :ne span.

Tne accuracy o# the recorce; measurements is possibly on the orcer of ;.1 -.2 osi because o' the scale used on the strip recorcer.

Tne measu rements* recordec at noon each cay were used along wit-noontime barometric pressures to octain :ne aosolute coctainment pressares for the period 4/2 - 5/20.

The absolute containment pressures were normalizec to a stancard temperature of 700',

using the average containment temperature obtained from 6 contain ent t empe ra t u re readings.

The estimated accuracv of the average containment te,oerature is ; 5 e (t rans la t i ne into an uncertaintv in the no rral i z i ng f act or on pressure of ;.1 psi).

Ine final correctec p essures (co-rected for temoe rature and barometric pressure 'luctuations) are estimated to have an uncertainty of 2 3 psi.

Tne corrected pressures (noont ime est imates) were plotted to obta in an est i..cte of the in-leakage rate.

A straight line was drawn through he data and the slope of the 1ine was determined to be 55 psiE 8 days =.01 psi / day.

The average containment pressure durir.g this time period was 14. psi.

The average pressure decay then is.08 Uday.
