Since the City uses the Susquehanna River as its ~;ajor source of drinting water, our concern nust be t:at the source be ke;; as free o# delibera:e contamina tion as possicle.

Even thouch ar;. cischarge would be witnin federal standarcs, the general health and renta' welf are of a:wrcrea tely 105,000 Lancaster aree resicents a-e c' c + e concern.

In the event that the cecision tc proceed wi th tne o ar *.o dit-cnarge waters fron TMI to the Suscuehanna is made, we would certainly expect to be notified of such discnarge prio-to tne event. We would require informa tion that would incluce cuant'ty, rate, radioactivity, time and duration of the discharge.
