De objective of this Procedure is to assure that a coluta of water will not exist in the instrumentation line during ::ero adjust =ent of the gage.

Existing unbalanced water columns will cause error in the ceasurement of sump levels.

This Procedure ;upplements Procedure - Z-93.

1.

Close valves DH-V2013 and Eli-V202E.

2.

Cpen valves VA and VB to relieve any accu =ulated pressure.

3.

Recove the Heise Cage from its counting and raise the Cage with the attached tubing to a level above the highest point of the tubing to assure drainage.

4.

Disconnect the tubing from the Heise Gage allowing it to drain into the Carboy Filter.

5.

Rotate the ' TEE' connection to valve VA so that it is in a horizontal pcsition.

6.

Mount the gage in a position so that the gage connection is

~

above the connection to valve VA.

7.

Install tubing and a vent valve VC per sketch in a mar.ner that will assure a slope f rom the gage connection to the valve VA connection.

NOTE:

Loops that could cause loop seals are not permitted.
