SUBJECT:

RADIATION A'iD CONTA'1INATION SURVEY OF DRAGER RESPlPATORS AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT On Ma-30, 1979, the following equipment was checked tor direct radia : ion from contamina tion and transf erable contamination.

14 Drager rebreather units 14 Spare oxygen bottles 3 Oxygen bottle carrying cases 1 R2-25 Tester 46 Spare Absorbent Canisters These items were checked for direct radia tion viith an Eberline "odel E-120 geiger counter (Serial No. 1269) and HP-190 end window probe last calibrated on February 2,1979.

Transferable contamination was checked with an Eberline HP-210 geiger tube coupled to an RM-14 ratemeter last calibrated on April 2, 1979.

No direct radiation or transferable contamination in excess of nor al background was found. None of the items being returned to you were used in a contamination or radiation area.

The items identified above are suitable for release to unrestricted use.
