HOURLY READINGS The hourly readings and alerts for the past two nights are not being transmitted in accordance with memo from J. Streeter to IE Control Foom Personnel. The following is a description of the shift 0001-0800 5/6/79.

0100 - Received readings for 0000 hrs.

(note:

readings for 2300 hrs 5/5/79 were not reported)

~0300 - Reading on AM-1 at 2:00 a.m.

Iodine was reported as 3.37 E-23! Vnen the ccmmunicator was questioned on this abnormal result, he simply stated that that was the way it was written down.

Asked him to re-check the figure.

l 0345 - Received word of possible release that occurred at 3:00 a.m.

0500 - Received 4:00 a.m. readings.

(note:

readings for 3:00 a.m. missed) 0620 - Received the 5:00 s.m. readings.

R2com end that steps be taken t> insure that hourly readings are taken and transmitted in a timely manter to IE Environmental Group so that we can do our job. Recc= mend readings on the met data every half-hour.
