S m ry of activities performed: Assigned to Phil Stohr in the Environmental Survey Team as Ground Survey Shift Supervisor on day shift. Main responsibilities were:

dispatch ground survey teams as dictated by meteorological conditions, request ARMS aerial survey as needed and record routine survey results record environmental survey results and other plant related monitoring results in log book, prepare su== aries twice per shift for briefing NRR as to status of environmental radiation levels, and coordinate collection of environmental samples such as air, soil, and vegetation.

I. addition to regular duties during the day shift, I supported the general operations by coordinating collection of in-plant samples for analysis by DOE laboratories. Additional time was 131 spent arranging for field concentration of I from milk samples, alpha :ounting of HP smear sa=ples from Unit 2, and dispatch of smear sample to RESL for alpha analysis.

Comments on IE operations:

IE environmental survey teams were well prepared to respond to any significant releases from the site.

The coordination between IE and DOE ground survey teams was excellent.
