Pursuant to pararraph h of the subject IE Bulletin, this is to notify you of an item which does not meet the post-accident environmental qualifications specified for its use. The specific item is an ASCO solenoid valve which is used to operate containment purge valves (one solenoid per valve, both containments). Please refer to the attached Bulletin Response for details and justification for continued operation.
This item vas identified yesterday as a result of Bulletin 79-01A.
