License Fee for Proposed Change No. 74, Supplement No. 1 Your letter, Reference (e), requested Vermont Yankee to submit a Class III fee of $4,000.00 for the licensing review of Proposed Change No. 74, Supplement No. 1.

This request was based on your discussion that; (1) the proposed change was not required of the NRC as a result of the ASLAB Decision of December 27, 1978 and (2) Supplement No. I significantly modified our initial request and, therefore, it was considered a single environmental issue separate from our August 16, 1978 letter. You requested submittal of the Class III fee within fif teen (15) days.

Because of recent consultations between our legal counsel and the Office of The Executive Legal Director, this matter is still under review. We therefore, anticipate filing our response with your office on or before June 29, 1979. Should you have any questions relative to this =atter, please contact us.
