IE Bulletin No. 79-09 Failures of GE Type AK-2 Circuit Breakers in Safety Related Systems

Dear Mr. Seyf ri t:

This letter is in response to the subject bulletin which requested a determination as to the use, or planned use, of the subject circuit breakers in safety-related systems at Cooper Nuclear Station.

Following a review of this subject by appropriate District personnel, we have concluded that GE Type AK-2 circuit breakers are not in use or planned for use at Cooper Nuclear Station.
