Dear Congressman O'Brien:

This is in response to your April 4,1979 request to review the letter frcm Mrs. Kay Drey on the subject of the proposed chemical decontamination of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station Unit No.1.

Mrs. Drey's letter to Chairman Hendrie was received on April 5,1979. We have determined that we should consider it as a request for action under the provisions of Section 2.206 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

The enclosed letter to Mrs. Drey dated April 9,1979, informed her of our determination and provided her with a copy of the related Federal Register Notice (FR 44 22529) which was published on April 16, 1979.

I hope that this letter and the enclosure are responsive to your request.

Please feel free to contact us for any additional information on this or any other related matters.

Sincerely,
