- iRC Inspection and Enforcement Eulletin 79-07, forwarded by letter dated April ik, 1979, requested information regarding computer codes used for piping stress analyses.
Specifically, Consuners Power Cc pany was requested to provide information regarding computer ccdes used tc analyze the dynamic reseonse of Bie-Rock Point and Falisades safet.v-related piping to a seismic event.
Big Rock Point structures were designed in accoriance with the Uniform Building Code including consideration of nominal seismic loading.
Design of the reactor containment vessel and its internal structures considered an additional seistic load factor above that required by the code. Piping design criteria were in accordance with the Code for Pressure Fiping, ASA-331.1-1955, which did not re-quire dynamic analyses.
