Dear Mr. MacDonald:
We respectfully request administrative changes to Certificates of Compliance Nos. 9081 and 9044 dated July 5, 1978 and January 29, 1979 respectively.
We are making this request in order to provide service in resin removal from the Three Mile Island nuclear power station operated by Metropolitan Edison.
Specifically we request that the following be added to Condition 5(b) of each certificate:
5.(b) Contents
- 1. Type and maximum qualtity of material for package Process solids, either dewatered, solid, or solidi-fled in secondary sealed containers meeting the requirements for low specific activity radioactive material, or Solid reactor components in secondary containers, as required, that meet the requirements for low specific activity radioactive material.
As discussed with Mr. Dick Odegaarden by telephone this date, we request action by your office this date, if possible, so that we may provide the required service.
In accordance with the provisions of 10CFRl70, our check in the amount of
$300.00 is enclosed.
If you desire additional information, please telephone our office.
