Dear :

r. Beckhcefer:

Mr. John Woliver informed me this afterncen at 1:hy p.:. that a discussien had taken place en March 12 accng the various carties to the Zimmer Nuclear Power Staticn coeratiens licensing hearing, with the exceotien of the Miami Valley Pcwer Project. He fur-her infor:ed me that certain dates and deadline s were determined.

The Pcwer Project res:ectfully recuests that the pericd for discover / be extended beycnd the March 19 deadline for the following reasons:

1) A plicant has not yet respended to cur first set of interro gato ries. We exoect that their ansmers will recuire clarification and elaboration, necessitating that an add-itionaly set of interrogaticns be subnitted to the Acclicant.
2) The Project is .cw finalizing a se:end set of interr ga-tories to serve en the Apelicant, w".ich we intend ic mail en '.: arch 21. We are unable te comlete this effort in he tvo da'/s remaining before the March 19 deadline.
3) Further, :ra:h of cur limited time and resources ". ave been excended censidering Applicant's varicus ctions. Tnis effort bas been even more difficult while cur counsel has been cut of tcwn.

b) The Project is new researching information, and crecaring interrogatories, to surolement cur two additional centen-tiens c - 1eming the welding of cable trays and the ever-sized ; .;rcl reds. Develectents arcund these twc areas merit ,rcu attentien and shall be reecrted.
