l This is in response to your letter of November 21,1978 whereby you j

submitted the safeguards contingency plan for Battelle's Columbus i

Laboratories. We have reviewed the plan and found that it will be acceptable if certain corrections are made. Detailed comments are con'tained in the enclosure to this letter.

It is requested that you provide us with appropriate revisions in order that your plan may be approved promptly.

We have determined that the enclosure to your letter of November 21, 1978 and the enclosure to this letter contain information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, they are deemed to be commercial or financial infomation within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
