Amerace Corporation Control Products Division Docket tio. 99900296/78-01 NOTICE OF DEVIATI0t; Based on the results of an i;RC inspection conducted on tiovember 27-30, 1978, it appeared that certain of your activities were not conducted in full accordance with NRC requirements as indicated below.

A.

Control Products Division's corrective action response letter of November 11, 1977, states in part, "Necessary information will be added to the calibration schedules by January 15, 1978."

Contrary to the above, necessary information had not been added to Calibration Schedules. The identical condition, as previously reported in Inspection Report No. 77-01, existed.

That is, the Calibration Schedule for Equipment No. 233945 (Mettler Gram Scale) lacked information in the " Calibrate with" and " Accuracy" spaces.

A further review revealed the following:

(a) Equipment No., Serial i;o., and Accuracy had not been entered on the Calibration Schedule for a 1" Micrometer, Type /Model No.

103-135.

(b) Equipment No and Serial No. had not been entered on the Cali-bration Schedule for a Dial Caliper, Type /Model No. 505-626.

(c)

Equipment No., Type /Model No., Serial No., and Accuracy had not been entered on the Calibration Schedule for a Height Gage.

(d) Serial No., Accuracy, and Calibration Location had not been entered on the Calibration Schedule for a Torque Screwdriver, Equipment No. G3253.

(e) Calibrate with, Purpose, Serial No., and Calibration Location had not been entered on the Calibration Schedule for a Mettler Gram Scale, Equipment No. 24644.

B.

Control Products Division's corrective action response letter of November 11, 1977, states in part, " Operating procedures that will cover the initiation, review, approval, issuance, and control of inspection procedures will be revised and/or developed, as necessary, by cognizant disciplines by January 15, 1978."
