This is in response to your request for our review and cc==ent on the Comanche Peak Stea Electric Station Environ = ental Report, Operating License Stage, Glen, Rose, Somervell County, Texas.

We note that the National Register of Historic Places was consulted and historical sites and land = arks in the i==ediate vicinity iderit-ified. A field and literature search of the area was conducted and archeological sites identified. We wish to co==end the Texas Utili-ties Generating Co=pany on these efforts and to request that the Texas State Historic Preservation Officer, Mr. Truett Latimer, Texas Historical Co==ission, P. O. Box 12276, Capitol Station, Austin, Texas 78711, be given the opportunity to review and co==ent on this projec:.

Any co==ents or concerns that he =ay express should be addressed.

Recreational areas and facilities in the vicinity of the project should be identified and any potential impacts on the= addressed in detail.
