The co-intervenors (Lakeshore Citizens For Safe Energy and Safe Haven) in the above proceding request; according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission :iles of p etice. mrt II, Sec. 2.711, a thirty day ext'ension in the pending license amendment ap' plication response

  • toapplicant's motion for summary disposition.

Because we are without legal counsel, fail time secratarial services, and research personnel and facilities, our efforts to respond ha,; been hampered.

We are earnestly trying to obtain and study legal references used by Mr. Keane in his motien for nummary disposition and to present our position in an appropriate canner.

Since the receipt of the summary disposition, we have been actively seeking to negotiate a settlement with Jisconsin Public Service Corporation similar to our agreement with wisconsin Electric Power Company concerning proceding: dealing with the Point Beach Nuclear Foner Plant.

We wo.11d appreciate your prempt consideration pursuant to this matter.
