for a license to export components valued at less than $100,000 to Japan for use in the FUGEN Leavy water reactor.

In accordance with 8110.41(d) of Part 110, the Executive Branch will review applications of this type because of the end use.

Before taking action on this license application, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to Mether the issuance of the requested license would be inimical to the interests of the United States, including the common defense and security.

Your office inadvertently may receive a copy of an export license issued on January 12, 1979 for this application. Please destroy this license copy as the export license for this application was not issued.
