- 1. You are authorized to remove materials from storage and begin preparation work.
- 2. Once the work is completed, the material will go back into storage.
- 3. Though the license date of expiration may pass, the conditions of the license will continue IAW 10 CFR 70.38:
- a. You are authorized to remove the materials from storage for packaging and shipping.
- b. Other standard decommissioning activities are authorized.
Please keep me informed of the status of the following:
- 1) Any difficulties or issues with preparation activities.
- 2) When DOE provides you a packaging/shipping schedule.
Jumping way ahead, once materials are shipped, please send me a copy of the shipping paperwork and update the NMMSS that the materials were transferred to DOE. Once I receive these, I will send a letter to terminated the license officially.
It was great to work with you and hopefully we streamlined the process well enough. Feel free to contact me at this email or at the phone below.
