REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON AECC-2-P We are currently reviewing the Aerojet Energy Conversion Company Licensing Topical Report number AECC-2-P dated October 15, 1979 entitled " Radioactive Waste Volume Reduction System."
The initial review by our Radiological Assessment Branch reveals a need for the further infonnation regarding ALARA design features, man-rem estimates, and system operation. The five questions in the enclosure indicate the specific information required.
This infonnation is necessary to complete the review - its expeditious submittal will, therefore, be to Aerojet's advantage. Please advise us as soon as possible of your planned submittal date so as to pennit us, in turn, to develop a further review schedule.
