Registration of Shipping Package Pursuant to 10 CFR 71.12, Vertont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation wishes to register as a user of the General Electric Ccepany shipping package, GE 1600. Vermont Yankee is in possession of a copy of the package license, Reference (b), and will comply with its applicable portions during use.
Vermont Yankee intends to become involved in the shipment of certain fuel pins from selected irradiated fuel assemblies as part of a fuel exanination program. The shipcent f rem the plant in Vernon, Vermont, to Vallicitos Nuclear Center, Pleasanton, California, will be cade by exclusive use truck, in compliance with the Department of Transportation regulations.
