In regard to the I.E.Bulletin 79-19, " Packaging of Low-Level Radioactive Waste for Transport and Burial", at Hillcrest Medical Center we are storing all the radioactive materials in the Nuclear Medicine Lab until We dispose they have gone through 10 Half-lives or equal to background.
of this material at that time by means as described in our NRC license.
We do not transport any radioactive materials for burial at this time.
I apologize for the delay in responding, although we did not receive any information from the NRC until the first of November.
