cions 10 CFR 70.14 (a), to grant r: lief frca the provisions of 10 CFR 58 (i) (2) in order to accumulc_a contaminated lou-enriched scrap with an uncertainty of greater than + 10% for a period not to exceed July 1980.
The Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Division is currently planning to purify all contaminated scrap through a solvent extraction process which is scheduled to be on line by the latter part of 1979.
The provisions associated with the accountability of the stored material are contained in the attachment to this request.
Payment of the amendment fee pursuant to 10CFR170 will follow under separate correspondence.
