Dear Mr. Anderson:
We have received your letter dated January 2,1979, which forwarded WCAP-9398, " Steam Generator Retubing and Refurbishment". You stated that it is your objective to obtain formal NRC approval of this report as soon as possible, preferably by the end of March 1979.
The schedule which you have requested is not practical in view of the significant effort required for us to review this report. Therefore, a tentative completion date of October 1979 has been set.
In addition, our regulations require us to charge a fee for topical report reviews.
The fee would be assessed upon completion of the review and would be based on the amount of time required to perfonn the review. The maximum fee would be $20,000.
