Dear Dr. Wilson:
I sincerely regret having to change my plans to speak at your symposium. Because of a change in the Commission's schedule, it became impossible to keep my date in Muskegon.
I understand that Joe Fouchard from our Office of Public Affairs has spoken with you and his recommendation of James Keppler of our Region III Office is an excellent one. I am confident Jim will more than adequately fill my spot on your program.
I apologize for the inconvenience I know this has caused you, but hope you will keep me in mind for any future program in which I might be helpful. I am sorry to miss this chance to visit the campus and to meet you, your colleagues, and the students at Muskegon. My best wishes for a successful meeting.
