(Skagit Nuclear Power Project, Units 1 and 2)

Docket Nos. 50-522 and 50-523 Gentlemen:

We are enclosing our 2/16/79 preliminary draft of Applicants' Revised Statement of Issues, in response to the Board's Post-Conference Order No.

2.

This preliminary draft reflects our understanding of the Board's order, and our suggestion to the parties of an appropriate uniform format to be used by each party in responding to the Board's order.

In sum, we believe that if each party will respond to questions a, b and c (pp. 2-3 of our draf t) with respect to each of the subject matter headings in our draft, this will pro-vide the Board with the information it desires in a form that will facilitate comparison of data.

As will be noted, our preliminary draft includes Applicants' answers only down through item C.6.

Our final submission will, of course, include Applicants' answers under all of the sub-headings.

Unless otherwise advised by the Board (or persuaded by a party),

our final submission will follow the format of our preliminary draft.

We plan to mail our final submission on Friday, February 23, so as to have it in the hands c' the Board and all parties by Monday, February 26, the deadline suggested in our motion of February 12, 1979.

Very truly yours, PERKINS, COIE, STONE, OLSEN & W7'LIAMS 7903150337 By 4
