This refers to your letter of February 13, 1979, for relief from the provisions of 10 CFR 70.58 (i)(2), and to a telephone conversation between H. Foster (Westinghouse) and R. Jac' son (NRC).

s This is to confirm that your request for amendment of License SNM-1107 is subject to a minor safeguards amendment fee of $3500 as specified in fee Category IB of Section 170.31 of Part 170.

Payment should be made to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and mailed to my attention. When submitting the fee, please refer to CONTROL NUMBER 12015.

Please note Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of Section 170.31, which provide that upon completion of the licensing review, the Commission will review its expenditures for professional manpower and anpropriate support services; recompute the amendment fee, and, if necessary, refund any overcharges.
