The referenced letters provided a description of the reportable condition and of the administrative procedure by which the Bechtel re-reviev is beirg performed. The enclosure to this letter provides a current status of the Bechtel re-review.

B&W submitted a partial qualification status of the NSSS Class 1E equipment with supporting documentation. CPCo is reviewing a sample of this documen-tation to determine if there is a need for a similar P.&W re-review of the USSS equipment qualification test documentation.

Another report, either interim or final, will be sent on or before May 1,1979 5
