Dear Mr. Gordon:
This letter is in reference to Timex Corporation's license XB000956 which authorizes the export of 400,000 curies of tritium gas encapsu-lated in luminous back-lighting assemblies to the Philippines and Singapore.
Some time ago, Timex requested an amendment to this license to increase the amount of material authorized for export to cover its tritium requirements for calendar year 1979. To enable the NRC 'to act upon this request and to clarify the additional amount of material required by Timex, please provide a breakdown of Timex's tritium requirements per country /per quarter for calendar year 1979.
