This is in regard to the application submitted to you on January 5,1979 by Schlumberger Well Services (SWS), requesting Type B(U) certification for the Model NLS-RF shipping container.
Based on our review of the application, we have concluded that the package (Model NLS-RF) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9088 meets the IAEA requirements for Type B(U) packages when used with the AmBe neutron source container shown on SWS drawings H-142108, Rev.B; H-136038, Rev.C; and H-126024, Rev.0.
